No. 5 Yale Can't Stop No. 3 Crimson

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. — The Yale women's squash team endured a tough outing Friday night as they lost 9-0 against No. 3 Harvard, a talented squad that has now won six consecutive matches.

The Crimson only loss came in a 5-4 thriller against No. 2 Penn on Jan. 11, and since that day the team has gone on a tear. Two days before the Yale match, Harvard knocked off No. 1 Trinity with an impressive 8-1 victory.

All this meant the Bulldogs would have a major challenge facing them in Cambridge. Four players won at least one game, but ultimately Yale found it could do little to stop a streaking Harvard squad.

The Bulldogs will conclude their Ivy League season on Sunday against a more manageable opponent, No. 9 Dartmouth. The match will begin at noon at the Brady Squash Center.
