NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Yale men's soccer team closes out the non-conference portion of the schedule with a trip to Boston on Tuesday to face Northeastern. Kickoff at Parsons Field is slated for 6 p.m. The game will be televised on NESN+ in New England and is available outside the region on nuhuskies.com.

Here are notes on the matchup:

* After winning nine straight games, the Bulldogs have dropped their last two – both in heartbreaking fashion in overtime. On Saturday, Penn escaped with a victory by scoring on a penalty kick in the second extra period.

* Yale had the edge in shots in both of its losses. The Bulldogs outshot Maryland 9-8 and outshot the Quakers 16-5.

* Yale remains alone in first place in the Ivy League with a 3-1 record. With nine points, the Bulldogs are two in front of Princeton, Penn and Dartmouth, who are all 2-1-1. Yale has three league games remaining – at Columbia on Saturday, home for Brown on Nov. 9 and at Princeton on Nov. 16.

* Goalkeeper Elian Haddock was named to the Ivy League Honor Roll on Monday. Haddock leads the league in goals against average (0.66) and is second in save percentage (.813).

* Miguel Yuste leads the Ivy League with seven goals.

* Tuesday's game continues a busy stretch for the Bulldogs, who played at Maryland last Monday before returning to the Mid-Atlantic region for Saturday's game in Philadelphia.

* Yale sits at No. 25 in this week's College Soccer News top-30 national poll.

SCOUTING NORTHEASTERN
