First Road Meet Takes Yale To Columbia

Bulldogs Looking To Open Season 3-0

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The Yale men's swimming and diving team travels to New York on Saturday afternoon to take on the Columbia Lions in just its second Ivy meet of this young season.

The Bulldogs are riding high after taking care of business last weekend, dispatching MIT 140–101 before taking down Brown 164–136. Sophomore Liam Bogart was dominant against the Bears, taking home first in three events.

The Elis will look to improve on their currently perfect 2–0 record on Saturday, but last year's contest against the Lions was a tight one. Yale pulled out the victory 168–132.

Columbia is also unbeaten, sitting at an identical 2–0. The Lions won against Army 166–134 before opening their Ivy competition with a 179–121 victory over Penn.

The action starts at 1 p.m. in the Percy Uris Natatorium.
