Yale won the doubles point but dropped a 4-1 decision to Penn at the Cullman-Heyman Tennis Center.
Yale's No. 1 team of Cody Lin and Ryan Cheng earned a 6-4 win, while the No. 2 tandem of Kevin Zhu and Dmitry Shatalin were 6-3 winners.
The Quakers, though, rallied in singles, winning at No. 1, No. 2, No. 4 and No. 6.
The Bulldogs wrap up the season by hosting Princeton on Sunday.
