On Saturday, the No. 4 Yale Women's squash team defeated No. 5 Stanford by a 6-3 margin.
"The Yale Women matched their effort and, in some spots, exceeded the level they played against Trinity on Wednesday," Brooks G. Ragen Director of Squash
Dave Talbott said. "The overall effort and individual results were stellar, and we have jumped another level this season with a tremendously bonded group of women."
Helen Teegan '21 and
Aishwarya Bhattacharya '21 both won key five-game battles at positions two and five respectively.
"Lucy and Helen continued the lead at the top against two quality players, with Aishwarya claiming a huge win against a former No. 1 ranked US Junior," Talbott continued. "Key again was our depth with Riya, Alexis, and Nikita closing out the last three spots."
At noon tomorrow, the Bulldogs look to continue their winning streak against George Washington University.
