NEW HAVEN, Conn. –
Maya Bellomo, making her third career start for the Yale Women's Soccer Team, notched a season-high 13 saves, but it wasn't enough to hold off No. 10 Harvard in a 2-0 decision at Reese Stadium.
The Bulldogs, who were outshot 23-6, kept the unbeaten Crimson off the scoreboard until the 50
th minute when Jordan Di Verniero put a rebound past Bellomo after the rookie Eli goalie made a stop.
Captain
Kristen Enriquez and first-year defender
Annika Bryant also made goal-saving stops on shots close to entering the net before the visitors finally broke through.
