STORRS, Conn. -- Bonnie Bostic had a season-high 15 kills and Mila Yarich added a double-double to lead Yale to its six straight win in a 3-1 victory over Bryant on Saturday afternoon at the UConn Dog Pound Challenge. The scores of the match were 21-25, 25-22, 25-12 and 25-13.
Yarich had 13 kills and 12 digs, while Carly Diehl had 32 assists, eight digs, five kills and four blocks as the Bulldogs improved to 7-1 overall. Fatima Samb had five kills, hit .364 and added a team-best six blocks.
Yarich snapped a 4-0 Bryant run with a kill to put Yale at set point in the second frame at 24-20. After a second set win, Yale took control.
The Bulldogs never trailed in set three and hit .387 for the game. Tiffany Pedersen-Henry (9 kills) extended Yale's lead to 16-10 and Yale never looked back.
Yale returns to action later tonight to take on host UConn at 7 p.m.
