Women's Soccer Resumes Ivy Play at Cornell

The Yale women's soccer team returns to the road when the Bulldogs travel to Cornell on Saturday, Oct. 15. The contest will be live on ESPN+ and available for international viewing on Stretch Internet.

The Bulldogs (5-5-2, 1-1-1 Ivy) are back in Ivy play after finishing out the non-conference portion of their schedule with a win against Sacred Heart on Wednesday, Oct. 12. With four games remaining, Yale looks to grab points on the road and move up in the Ivy standings in a tight table.

Last Meeting with Cornell
Rebeka Róth scored the game-winner in a 1-0 victory for the Bulldogs in their last outing with the Big Red on Oct. 16, 2021. Marisa Shorrock earned her first win and clean sheet for Yale in net.

Recent History
Yale is 3-1-1 in its last five meetings against Cornell dating back to Oct. 15, 2016. Four of those matches were decided by one goal, while the fifth was a double-overtime draw.

  • In goal, Nicole Shulman has started eight of the Big Red's 12 games this season, posting a 1-3-3 record with a 1.83 goals-against average and a .656 save percentage.
