NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Yale men's tennis team dropped a hard-fought 5-2 decision to St. John's at the Cullman-Heyman Tennis Center.
All three doubles matches were closely contested. Yale's duo of
Luke Neal and
Renaud Lefevre posted a 7-5 victory at the No. 3 position. The Red Storm, though, won 7-5 at No. 1 and 7-6 at No. 2.
In singles, Yale's
Theo Dean cruised to a 6-4, 6-2 victory at No. 2. The Bulldogs were also victorious at No. 5 as
Shervin Dehmoubed was a straight sets winner.
The Bulldogs are back in action on Sunday, hosting Boston University at 11 a.m. at Cullman-Heyman
