BOSTON, Mass. — The Yale Women's Squash Team lost to top-seeded Harvard in the semifinals of the Howe Cup this afternoon by a score of 9-0.
The Elis gave it their all against the nation's top squad, with
No. 7 Aishwarya Bhattacharya and
No. 8 Lindsay Westerfield putting forth particularly strong fights. Bhattacharya took game three from Harvard's Charlotte Orcutt before falling in four, and Westerfield won games one and three against Amira Singh before losing in a five-game battle.
Tomorrow at 2:30 p.m. the Bulldogs face Trinity, who lost to Drexel 5-4 this afternoon, in the third-place contest of the CSA Championships. In the last matchup three weeks ago, Trinity prevailed by a score of 6-3.
