NEW HAVEN, Conn. – It will be another challenging Saturday for the No. 2 ranked Yale women's crew. The Bulldogs, racing in Saratoga, N.Y., will test themselves against a pair of strong non-conference opponents in the morning and then compete for a cup against a familiar Ivy League foe in the afternoon.
 
The day begins against No. 14 Syracuse and Wisconsin. First to race will be the varsity four at 9 a.m. followed by the varsity eight at 9:20 a.m. with the remaining three races coming in 20-minute intervals.
 
In the afternoon, the Bulldogs face Cornell with the winner of the varsity eight taking home the Cayuga Cup. Bucknell also will race. The first afternoon race is set for 12:50 p.m., and the varsity eight will go off at 1:20 p.m.
 
"This is a great chance for us to race for the Cayuga Cup vs Cornell and see crews from the ACC and Big Ten," said Will Porter, the Friends of YWC Head Coach of the Bulldogs. "We are excited to race on the historic Saratoga course with the prospect of it potentially hosting the Ivy Championship in the future."
 
All five of Yale's crews are undefeated on the season. Last weekend in their first Ivy races of the season, the Bulldogs handily defeated Columbia, Penn and Dartmouth.
