"Going into today's match, we knew we were going to be the underdogs. Our team fought hard against some really experienced players," said Lynn Leong, Brooks G. Ragen Director of Squash. "We have another big test with a mid-week match against Trinity and there is more work to be done as we approach championship season."
Sneha Sivakumar put on another solid performance on the court and picked up her second win in back-to-back games. After losing the first to set, Sivakumar responded with two set victories to take the lead. Liyen Teoh, Sivakumar's opponent, battled in the fourth set to a 12-10 victory, equalizing the scorer. Sivakumar kept her foot on the gas and held on for the three-point victory in the final set to secure the overall win.Â
