Box Score HAMDEN, Conn. – The Yale women's ice hockey team dropped a conference matchup to in-state rival No. 6 Quinnipiac on Saturday afternoon at M&T Bank Arena. The Bobcats downed the Bulldogs 6-3 after scoring four goals in the first period. Yale nearly completed the miraculous comeback by scoring three unanswered goals in the second and third period, but two late empty-netters sealed the game for the Bobcats.
With the victory, Quinnipiac improves to 8-0 this season. The Bulldogs fall to 1-1 overall after facing their second ranked opponent in as many days.
