NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Yale women's ice hockey team picked up its biggest win of the season, toppling No. 4 Colgate 3-1 at Ingalls Rink on Friday evening. Sophomore

Pia Dukaric stopped 36 shots to lead the Bulldogs to a major conference victory.
With the win, the Bulldogs improved to 15-12-1 overall with a 12-8-1 record in conference play. The home team also prevented Colgate from locking up the regular season ECAC Championship and handed the Raiders its fourth conference loss of the season. Colgate falls to 26-6-1 overall, but has a chance to earn the ECAC title tomorrow with a win at Brown.
"We showed great resilience early after getting down in the first, then clawed our way back in it," said
Mark Bolding, Susan Cavanaugh Head Coach of Women's Hockey. "We had a tremendous second period effort and scored great goals in transition. Pia held the fort for the rest of the night. Very happy for the group to beat a top-rated team."

- P1, 18:48 | GOAL! The Bulldogs tied the game on a gorgeous wrist shot by Anna Bargman. As Elle Hartje skated the puck into the attacking area on a two-on-one advantage for the Bulldogs, the senior dished it through the slot to Bargman who went bar down for the hosts' first goal.
- END OF 1 | Yale stepped up on the defensive end, blocking five shots and only conceding a single goal.
- P2, 7:42 | GOAL! Following a pass from Hartje in front of the blue line, Ray skated through a pair of Raiders' defenders. After a backhanded deke, Ray netted the wrister to give the Bulldogs the lead.
- P2, 17:44 | GOAL! Defender Deanna Buenzow gathered the puck from the defensive zone and sent a long pass to Bargman. The junior patiently skated into the attacking area and delivered a perfect pass through the slot to the far post to Ray, who tapped it in for her second goal of the game.
- END OF 2 | The Bulldogs led 2-1 after 40 minutes, as a result of the two goals by Ray.
- FINAL | Dukaric held off a slew of late chances from Colgate to propel the Bulldogs to a 3-1 win.

- Yale snapped a three-game losing streak to Colgate.
- The Bulldogs picked up their highest ranked win of the season, defeating the No. 4 Raiders. They are now riding a four-game winning streak, and have outscored their opponents 14-1 over that span.
- Hartje tallied two assists, and now has 163 career points, just one away from tying the all-time program record.
- Hartje has 11 points over the past eight games.
- Bargman recorded her 10th goal of the season. She now has seven points over the past five games.
- Ray scored her team-leading 11th and 12th goals of the year. She picked up her second multi-goal game of the season.
- Dukaric stopped 36 shots and earned her fourth consecutive victory. She has only conceded one goal and has registered a remarkable .989 save percentage over that span.

The Bulldogs will play Cornell on Saturday in the regular season finale at Ingalls Rink. The winner of Saturday's contest will claim the Ivy League Championship. Following the game, Yale will celebrate its two seniors.
