No. 24 Princeton Edges Yale 4-3

Bulldogs knock off two nationally ranked opponents

PRINCETON, N.J. – The Yale men's tennis team gave No. 24 Princeton all it could handle before falling 4-3.

In doubles, the Yale duo of Theo Dean and Aidan Reilly defeated Filippos Astreinidis and Paul Inchauspe, who are ranked No. 36 by the ITA. That victory coupled with Vignesh Gogineni and Eric Li winning at No. 2 earned the Bulldogs the doubles point.

In singles, Gogineni was a straight sets winner over Inchauspe, who is ranked No. 34, at No. 1. In addition, Eric Li won a pair of tiebreakers to defeat Sebastian Sec at No. 3.
