Five Bulldogs Named To All-ECAC Team

DANBURY, Conn. - The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) has announced its 2025 Division I FCS All-ECAC Team and Major Awards, including five Bulldogs amongst their accolades. Josh Pitsenberger, Nico Brown and Leo Bluhm all garnered All-ECAC Offense honors, and Ezekiel Larry and Abu Kamara were both named All-ECAC Defense.
 
OFFENSE
Josh Pitsenberger – Running Back
The Asa S. Bushnell Offensive Player of the Year and a First Team All-Ivy selection, Pitsenberger rushed for 1,571 yards and 19 touchdowns on 313 carries, leading the Ivy League in all three categories during the regular season. His 130.9 rushing yards per game were good for fourth-best in the country, making him one of 10 players nationally to average more than 100 rushing yards per game.
 
Nico Brown – Wide Receiver
Brown earned First Team All-Ivy and All-New England honors after posting 71 receptions for 1,085 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns. His 108.5 receiving yards per game led the nation and was good for third-most in Yale history. 
 
Leo Bluhm – Offensive Line
A First Team All-Ivy honoree, Bluhm was a leader on the Yale offensive line, starting all 12 regular-season games at center.

DEFENSE
Abu Kamara – Defensive Back

A unanimous First Team All-Ivy selection, Kamara was unanimously voted the Asa S. Bushnell Defensive Player of the Year, finishing the season with 76 tackles (40 solo), 6.5 tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks, three forced fumbles, four fumble recoveries, two interceptions, 13 pass breakups, a blocked kick, and two defensive touchdowns.
 
Ezekiel Larry – Defensive Line
Larry earned First Team All-Ivy honors and was named All-New England after leading the Ivy League with 10.5 sacks, ending the season ranked eighth nationally in sacks per game (.95).

The ECAC is an eighty-six year old intercollegiate athletics organization with roughly 200 member schools for traditional sports across all three NCAA Divisions - I, II and III - that exists to enhance the experience of student-athletes participating in NCAA sports, and provide great value for universities, by sponsoring championships, leagues, bowl games, tournaments and other competitions throughout the country. The ECAC also hosts a comprehensive esports program, with over 300 schools, 4,000 teams and 10,000-plus participants in twenty-four different games titles.
