NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Yale men's team picked up two wins to close out the weekend on Sunday, taking down Oklahoma State University, 4-3, and then Boston University, 4-0, at Cullman-Heyman Tennis Center.
The Bulldogs opened strong against Oklahoma State, earning the doubles point behind victories from the teams of
Vignesh Gogineni and
Edward Liao and
Jason Shuler and
Dylan Tsoi. In singles action, the Bulldogs continued to battle, as Gogineni, Shuler, and Liao each picked up wins, with Liao's three-set match clinching the victory.
Yale continued its momentum against Boston University, quickly picking up the doubles point with the same pairs that defeated the Cowboys earlier in the day. The Bulldogs then had singles wins from Gogineni, Liao, and
Ethan Chung to complete the perfect day.
