Bulldogs to Host No. 18 Boston University on Saturday

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Fresh off an exciting home-opening win over Marist on Tuesday, the Yale men's lacrosse team aims to keep the momentum rolling as it hosts No. 18 Boston University this Saturday, Feb. 21.

Last Time Out
  • Sean Grogan led the way with a team-high four goals as nine different Bulldogs found the net, lifting Yale to a 15-9 victory over the Red Foxes on Tuesday evening.
  • Grogan had a strong five-point night (four goals, one assist), leading a Yale attack led by its first-years, who netted seven of the team's goals. The Bulldogs also broke the game open with a seven-goal surge in the third quarter.
  • Grogan also had three caused turnovers and picked up three ground balls.

  • The Terriers are coming off a dominant 13-5 win over Dartmouth on Feb. 15.
  • In the victory over the Big Green, Peyton Forte scored a career-high five goals and Connor Kehm set new career bests with five caused turnovers and 10 ground balls.
  • BU is averaging 14.67 caused turnovers a game and 40.0 ground balls per game.
  • Kehm was recently named Patriot League Defensive Player of the Week, and also tabbed to the USILA Team of the Week.
  • Timothy Shannehan was named to the Tewaaraton Watch List, and is one of six Patriot League representatives on the initial list of 50 men's players.
