  • T6 – The Crimson extended their lead in the sixth. After putting two runners on base in the first two at-bats of the inning, an RBI double to left field scored both. Later in the inning, a hard-hit ball to third base brought another run home. (HAR 5, YAL 0)
  • B6 – Ava Kainrath recorded Yale's first hit of the game with a hard-hit ball back to the pitcher. In the ensuing at-bat, Elena Ohe lined a ball to first base that the Crimson could not handle. With runners on the corners, Grace Westmoreland ripped an infield single to shortstop to score Kainrath. (HAR 5, YAL 1)
  • T7 – Harvard responded in its next trip to the plate. An infield single put a runner on, and a double in the following at-bat scored the runner from first to extend the lead. (HAR 6, YAL 1)
  • B7 – Back-to-back walks by Isabella Fortini and Demi Donahoe gave Yale two baserunners to start the inning. Ella Gandolfo lifted a ball to shallow center field that scored Fortini from second while Donahoe advanced to second. Harvard escaped with two straight strikeouts to seal the game one victory. (HAR 6, YAL 2)
Game 2: Yale 4, Harvard 1
