Four Bulldogs Earn All-Ivy Honors

PRINCETON, N.J. – Four members of the Yale softball team received year-end honors from the Ivy League, as announced on Wednesday, May 6.

Libby Peoples earned First Team All-Ivy honors for her efforts as a utility player, while Ellie Joseph was named to the Second Team following a standout first-year pitching campaign. Captain Emma Taylor closed out her career with All-Ivy Honorable Mention recognition.

This marks Peoples' second career First Team selection and her first since her rookie season in 2023. The Bothell, Wash., native led the team in multiple categories, including batting average (.381), OPS (1.088), triples (6) and total bases (69).

Joseph earned conference honors for her work in the pitching circle, throwing 102 innings over the course of the season with a team-best 3.84 ERA and 80 strikeouts.

Taylor was recognized for the second time in her career after previously earning Second Team All-Ivy honors in 2024 following her sophomore season. She concluded her senior year with a 3.87 ERA over 106.2 innings, along with 78 strikeouts.

Kaitlyn Oikle, a computer science major, was named Yale's Academic All-Ivy selection.
