NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Intercollegiate Rowing Coaches Association (IRCA) has announced its 2026 Empacher-IRCA Scholar Athletes, with 14 Bulldogs earning recognition.
To be named an Empacher-IRCA Scholar Athlete, rowers and coxswains must meet the following criteria:
- Be a student-athlete at an IRCA member institution.
- Be in at least their second year of eligibility.
- Have competed in their program's top three varsity boats during the current season or raced at the 2026 IRA Championship.
- Have earned a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.50 through the fall semester.
The Bulldogs recognized as 2026 Empacher-IRCA Scholar Athletes are:
