PRINCETON, N.J. – The Yale Bulldogs men's soccer team were selected to finish seventh in the Ivy League's preseason poll. The voting is conducted by media and league communications directors.
Defending regular season conference champions, Princeton, earned 14 first-place votes to top the poll. Cornell was chosen to finish second and tallied a pair of first-place votes. Penn was picked to finish in the third slot.
The Bulldogs, who finished tied for fifth last season, were picked to finish seventh in 2026. Harvard was picked to finish fourth, followed by Brown, Dartmouth, and Columbia
Yale finished with a 2-4-1 conference record in 2025. The Bulldogs return a strong core of players and have brought in an impressive recruiting class.
Yale kicks off its season at home on Friday, Aug. 28 against Quinnipiac.
