Abbey Paduano

Abbey Paduano joined Yale Athletics in February 2025, bringing extensive experience in athletics administration and event operations.

Paduano most recently served as the Director of Football Operations at Colgate, from 2022-2025, where she managed all aspects of team operations, including staff and team logistics, travel, recruiting coordination, and administrative support for the head coach. 

In February 2024, Paduano was selected as one of only 40 women nationwide working in college sports to participate in the NFL Women’s Forum, a prestigious program that connects female leaders in college football with NFL owners, head coaches, and executives through a day-long networking event.

Prior to her operations role with football, Paduano worked as Colgate’s Athletics & Events Marketing Coordinator from 2021-2022, where she led event management for six varsity programs, including men’s and women’s basketball and both ice hockey teams. She also played a key role in several high-profile championships, serving as secondary manager for the 2022 Patriot League Men’s Basketball Tournament, the ECAC Men’s and Women’s Ice Hockey Championships, and the NCAA Women’s Ice Hockey Regional Tournament.

Her earlier experience includes venue and gameday operations with the Adirondack Bank Center in Utica, N.Y., where she assisted with concerts, press conferences, and entertainment events, while also supporting Utica College hockey games and interning with the Utica Comets of the AHL.

A former student-athlete, Paduano competed for the SUNY Cortland women’s ice hockey team from 2017–2020. She earned her bachelor’s degree in sport management from Cortland and later completed a Master of Science in Legal Studies in Human Resources from Albany Law School in 2022.
