Alex Kurtz

Alex Kurtz joined the Yale Football staff in March of 2022 as Director of Recruiting. Kurtz was on staff when the Bulldogs won the Ivy League Championship in 2022, 2023 and 2025. In his role, he oversees recruiting and player personnel efforts, game management, and serves as Yale Football's NFL Liaison.

Prior to Yale, he served as the Assistant Director of Scouting at Boston College where he was responsible for player evaluation and recruitment. In 2018, Kurtz was the quarterback coach at Bryant. He also spent three seasons as a graduate assistant at Boston College, working with quarterbacks and receivers.

Kurtz graduated Vanderbilt University with a BA in history and political science. He earned a master’s in administrative studies from Boston College in 2017.
