Blair Mebane began working at Yale in 2001 and became a full-time assistant in equipment operations in 2015.
Mebane, a Hamden, Conn., native who attended Morehouse College in Atlanta, has worked with almost every Yale varsity team while covering numerous facilities within the athletics department.
He is also a talented DJ who has served as the music director for Bulldog contests in hockey, basketball volleyball and gymnastics. In addition, his company provides DJ services for private events, and he handled music operations for the professional baseball team (Bluefish) in Bridgeport.
Mebane, who enjoys the interactions with student-athletes, is a former swimmer at Hamden High School.
