Daniel Camilli

Daniel Camilli joined the Yale strength and conditioning staff in the spring of 2025. He is responsible for assisting with football and overseeing men’s tennis.

Prior to joining the Bulldogs, Camilli interned with the Michigan football team from May 2024 to April 2025. He was responsible for monitoring athlete development through exercise progression, recording and data tracking using Catapult, VALD suite and Perch. He also assisted in leading group stations during lifts and implementing return-to-play protocols.

From January 2023 to January 2024, Camilli was an athletic performance intern at Michigan State. He worked with the women’s soccer, softball and track programs. 

In the summer of 2023, Camilli worked as a football strength and conditioning intern at Hawaii. His responsibilities included managing daily team attendance, designing and implementing modified player lifts during fieldwork and aiding in lift setups and breakdowns. He also contributed to facility maintenance and organization.

Camilli earned a Bachelor of Science degree in kinesiology from Michigan State in 2024. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association and holds CPR/First Aid certification through the American CPR Care Association.

Camilli was born and raised in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
