Mackinsey Tessitore joined the Yale Athletics staff in August 2026. She serves as the athletic trainer for the women's ice hockey and men's lightweight crew programs.
Prior to joining Yale, Tessitore served as an athletic trainer at Mercyhurst University during the 2025–26 academic year, where she worked with the men's ice hockey, men's and women's track and field, and men's and women's tennis programs.
Originally from California, Tessitore earned a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of La Verne in 2022 before completing a Master of Science in Athletic Training at Indiana University in 2025. During her graduate education, she gained clinical experience working with football, men's wrestling, women's soccer and women's field hockey. She also earned her Graston Technique® M1 Certification while at Indiana.
As part of her graduate training, Tessitore completed a clinical rotation with the University of Denver men's ice hockey team during the 2024–25 season.
