Nicole Lioumis joined the Yale softball coaching staff ahead of the 2026-27 academic yeara while beginning her master’s degree studies at the Yale School of Nursing.

Lioumis earned her bachelor’s degree in biology from Bucknell University, where she was a four-year contributor in the infield for the Bison. In addition to her athletic accomplishments, she was actively involved in academic, research and leadership opportunities across campus. Lioumis served as an anatomy and physiology teaching assistant, neurobiology research assistant, vice president of standards for the Alpha Chi Omega chapter, CAS mentor, president of the Pre-Physician Assistant and Nurse Practitioner Club, and a member of the Pre-Health Society.

A native of Downingtown, Pa., Lioumis brings a strong background in leadership, service and student-athlete development as she pursues her master’s degree in nursing at Yale.
