Patrick Miller joined the Yale athletic department staff in the spring of 2025. He is involved with the operations and logistics of rentals, events and programs across Yale's athletic facilities. His role includes assisting with facility walkthroughs; event setups and teardowns; and working closely with the operations team to ensure smooth and efficient event execution.
From January to May 2024, Miller interned with the MLS team Sporting Kansas City as a satellite facilities and operations intern. He executed daily setup and breakdown across multiple facilities; ensured that the facilities met cleanliness and maintenance standards; and assisted in efficient facility operations and matchday execution.
Miller was a student assistant for the Springfield College football team from 2021 to 2023. In 2023, he worked in Alumni Donor Engagement at Springfield, conducting personalized outreach to alumni to strengthen institutional relationships and communicate the impact of their contributions. That year he also gained event management and operations experience as an intern with the USL Championship team Hartford Athletic, supporting matchday operations, field setup, fan experience and parking operations.
Miller served as a team liaison for the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame's Spalding Hoop Hall Classic in 2022.
Miller earned his B.S. in sport management from Springfield College in May 2024. He is a native of Guilford, Conn.
