Tate Miller joined the Yale Squash coaching staff in January 2023.
While at Yale, Miller helped lead the men's team to the CSA semifinals in back-to-back seasons. In 2024-25, the Bulldogs reached the CSA Championship Match for the first time since 2016.
Prior to joining Yale, Miller served as the Director of Community Programs at SquashSmarts. There he introduced the sport of squash to more than 700 students in the Philadelphia public school districts. He also re-engaged the North Philadelphia community and build relationships with the Philadelphia Youth Sports Collaborative, while also assisting other coaches with match day and practice support.

Miller earned a degree in international studies from Haverford College where he was captain of the men’s squash team.

A Philadelphia native, he resides in New Haven and enjoys playing tennis, soccer, and rock climbing in his free time.
