Box Score 2 NEW HAVEN, Conn. -- Sydney Grobman and Giovy Webb homered for the Bulldogs who dropped two games to UMass Lowell on Tuesday afternoon.
The River Hawks won game one 7-3 and took the nightcap 9-1 in five innings.
Grobman also had two hits in game two for the Bulldogs, who fell to 6-11 on the season. UMass Lowell, of the America East Confernce, improved to 10-12.
Carlin Hagmaier had two hits for the Bulldogs in game two. Olivia Vinyard had a sac fly for Yale in the second game to score Shelby Kennedy, who had two runs scored on the day.
The Bulldogs return to action tomorrow at Wagner for a doubleheader beginning at 2 p.m.
