Busy Sunday on Tap at Brandeis Invitational

Bulldogs open vs. Brandeis at 9 a.m.

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – It will be a busy Sunday for the Yale women's fencing team. The Bulldogs are set to fence six opponents at the Brandeis Invitational. The action kicks off at 9 a.m. when Yale faces off against the host school. The final match is against Wellesley at 3 p.m.
 
The Bulldogs opened the season back on Nov. 6 at the Garret Penn State Open, which was an individual competition. Yale had three top-10 finishes, led by Erica Hooshi, who placed eighth in foil. Emme Zhou (ninth in foil) and Linda Liu (10th in epee) also turned in strong performances.
 
Following Sunday's Invitational, the Bulldogs won't compete again until Jan. 8 at the Penn State Invitational.

11 a.m. – Yale vs. MIT
1 p.m. – Yale vs. St. John's
2 p.m. – Yale vs. Incarnate Word
