NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The first Ivy League road trip of the season takes the Yale softball team to Hanover, N.H., for a three-game series with Dartmouth. The teams play a doubleheader on Saturday and a single game on Sunday. The first pitch both days is slated for 12:30 p.m. ESPN+ has a live stream of all three games.
 
The Bulldogs opened Ivy play with three games against Harvard last weekend. Yale capped the series with a 4-3 win on Sunday after dropping two close games on Saturday.
 
Maddie Latta was named to the Ivy League Honor Roll on Monday following her strong performance against the Crimson. At the plate, Latta batted .300 (3-for-10), and in the circle, she struck out 12 in 12.2 innings while earning the victory on Sunday.
 
Latta continued her strong play on Wednesday against Central Connecticut, belting her second home run of the season. Sam Goodcase, who leads the team with a .359 average, continued her hot hitting as well, delivering three hits in Wednesday's second game.
 
SCOUTING DARTMOUTH
 
The Big Green, playing its Ivy openers, just returned from a trip to Georgia. Dartmouth played in the UGA Classic last weekend and dropped a doubleheader to Georgia Tech in its most recent games on Tuesday. Billie McFadyen leads the team in average (.269), hits (14) and RBIs (6). Kate Farren has the Big Green's only home run. Brooke Pionka has started 10 games in the circle with 37 strikeouts in 44.1 innings.
 
WHAT'S NEXT
 
The Bulldogs play a single game at Fairfield next Wednesday before returning to 5K Corral Field at DeWitt Family Stadium for a three-game series with Brown next Saturday and Sunday.
