NEW HAVEN, Conn. — Team 152 has received another set of All-American accolades, with four Bulldogs being named to the 2025 AP FCS All-America Team, as announced by the organization on Tuesday, Dec. 16.
The Bulldogs boasted the most selections in the Ivy League, earning one more than second-place Dartmouth, who received three selections.
SECOND TEAM
Abu Kamara – Defensive Back
A unanimous First Team All-Ivy selection, Kamara earned another All-American recognition after being named an AP All-American Honorable Mention in 2024 and FCS Football Central All-American in 2025. He was unanimously voted the Asa S. Bushnell Defensive Player of the Year, finishing the season with 76 tackles (40 solo), 6.5 tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks, three forced fumbles, four fumble recoveries, two interceptions, 13 pass breakups, a blocked kick, and two defensive touchdowns.
HONORABLE MENTION
Josh Pitsenberger – Running Back
The Asa S. Bushnell Offensive Player of the Year, First Team All-Ivy selection and FCS Football Central All-American, Pitsenberger rushed for 1,571 yards and 19 touchdowns on 313 carries, leading the Ivy League in all three categories during the regular season. His 130.9 rushing yards per game were good for fourth-best in the country, making him one of 10 players nationally to average more than 100 rushing yards per game.
Nico Brown – Wide Receiver
Brown earned First Team All-Ivy, All-New England honors and FCS Football Central All-American honors after posting 71 receptions for 1,085 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns. His 108.5 receiving yards per game led the nation and was good for third-most in Yale history.
Michael Bennett – Offensive Line
A First Team All-Ivy honoree, Preseason All-American, All-New England honoree, FCS Football Central All-American and Jerry Nason Award recipient, Bennett anchored the Yale offensive line, starting all 12 regular-season games.
