Bulldogs Picked to Finish Second in Ivy League Preseason Poll

PRINCETON, N.J. – The Yale baseball team was picked to finish second in the Ivy League preseason poll. The voting is conducted by media members and league communications directors.

Columbia, the defending Ivy League Tournament champion, earned nine first-place votes to top the poll. The Bulldogs received seven first-place votes to land in the No. 2 spot. Penn was picked to finish third, followed by Harvard, Princeton, Cornell, Dartmouth and Brown.

Last season, Yale earned a share of the Ivy League regular season title, the team's first since 2018. The Bulldogs finished with a 31-14 record, winning 30-plus games for the third time in program history. The Elis earned qualification and hosting rights to the Ivy League Tournament for the first time. Sophomore Jack Ohman was named Ivy League Pitcher of the Year, while classmate Jack Dauer earned Ivy League Rookie of the Year honors.

The Bulldogs will kick off the 2026 season on Feb. 20 at the Andre Dawson HBCU Classic.
