PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Yale women's swimming and diving team concluded day two of the Ivy League Championships on Thursday, highlighted by
Jessey Li's team record-breaking performance in the 200-yard IM.
The Results
- 200-yard IM: Li delivered a strong prelims swim, breaking the team record with a time of 1:58.83. In the A final, Lucy Walker placed fifth (1:59.82), while Li finished sixth (2:00.65).
- 500-yard Freestyle: Caroline Riggs earned sixth place in the A final, touching the wall at 4:46.15.
- 50-yard Freestyle: Penny Zarczynski won the C final in 23.04, followed by Sara Plunkett in third (23.12) and Julia Ebli in fourth (23.21).
- 1M Dive: Paige Lai recorded a sixth-place finish in the A final with a score of 258.65.
- 200-yard Freestyle Relay: The quartet of Li, Caroline McCurdy, Zarczynski, and Plunkett wrapped up the night with a fifth place finish in a time of 1:31.19.
