PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Jessey Li and
Devyn Sargent each earned bronze medals, leading the Yale women's swimming and diving team on the final day of the Ivy League Championships at the Katherine Moran Coleman Aquatics Center.
Li earned bronze in the 200-yard breaststroke, while Sargent claimed a top-three finish in the 200-yard backstroke. Together, they closed out the championships with two top-three individual finishes apiece.
The Bulldogs concluded four days of championship competition, finishing fifth with a total of 840 points.
The Results
- 1650-yard Freestyle: Caroline Riggs finished fourth with a time of 16:15.74.
- 200-yard Backstroke: Sargent had a strong swim, earning bronze in 1:54.85, and Mabel Koff finished seventh at 1:57.11.
- 200-yard Butterfly: Angela Wang placed fifth in the A final with a time of 1:59.68.
- 200-yard Breaststroke: Li delivered a standout performance, taking bronze in 2:13.11.
- 3M Dive: Lily Horenkamp (267.65) and Paige Lai (265.95) placed fourth and fifth in the B final, respectively.
