NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Yale men's and women's fencing teams will compete for a title this weekend at the Ivy League Round-Robins hosted by Princeton. The men's team will fence twice on Saturday and twice on Sunday, while the women's squad will compete three times on both Saturday and Sunday.
The men's team is seeded fourth. Columbia is the top seed, followed by Harvard and Penn. Princeton wraps up the field as the fifth seed.
On the women's side, the Bulldogs are seeded fourth. Columbia is the top overall seed, followed by Princeton, Harvard, Yale, Cornell, Penn, and Brown.
Last year,
Jordan Silberzweig and
Castor Kao earned All-Ivy recognition in sabre.
