PRINCETON, N.J. -- After an unbelievable weekend at the plate,
Garrett Larsen was named Ivy League Player of the Week, as announced by the conference on Monday afternoon.
Larsen had a career weekend at the Andre Dawson Classic in Florida. The Connecticut native went 7-for-9 in three games and reached base 10 times in 12 plate appearances. Larsen added one double, one home run and scored five runs while stealing two bases. He finished the weekend with an unworldly OPS of 2.055. In addition to his prowess at the plate and on the bases, Larsen also showcased his versatility defensively, playing three different positions.
The Yale baseball team will next play Pepperdine in a three-game set in California.
